By August 1957, the tank destroyer was dismantled. The Centurion Main Battle Tank Mk13 is fitted with an Ordnance 105mm L7A1 gun firing HE (high-Explosive) and APDS (armoured-piercing discarding sabot).

It used a lightly armoured, fully enclosed and traversable turret on a Centurion hull. The chassis was also adapted for several other roles, and these have remained in service to this day. It is widely considered to be one of the most successful post-war tank designs, remaining in production into the 1960s, and seeing combat in the front lines into the 1980s.

Project started in 1951/52, 89 and developed in July 1955. The Centurion, introduced in 1945, was the primary British main battle tank of the post-World War II period. This bad lady holds two people at a time in a private session with 20-minute drive time and up to a two-hour total experience on our beautiful property checking out all of the other tanks! An experimental tank destroyer with a 183 mm gun L4, which was a modified version of the BL 7.2-inch (183 mm) howitzer. You can feel the power in this beauty before she even starts up! This 52-ton beast served in Vietnam and has an interesting history including being hit by landmines on two occasions.
